#1. Diagnosing Pregnancy Scan
Diagnosing pregnancy scan helps you in confirming the pregnancy and locating the fetus position inside the mother’s womb. This scan is generally performed after 5 weeks from the last menstrual date. This is the ideal period to spot the fetus being formed inside the womb of the mother. Diagnosing scan is highly essential and important as it reconfirms the pregnancy and helps you guide towards the required health care.
#2. Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound
Generally called an NT scan is performed at the end of the first trimester around 12 – 14 weeks of pregnancy. The NT scan provides you with the overall production information of the pregnancy. The number of fetuses formed, the position of the baby, and the growth of the baby. The heartbeat of the baby can be heard in this scan!
#3. Tiffa Scan
Tiffa scan plays a crucial role in observing the structural abnormalities of the baby. The overall posture of the baby from the head until the toe can be seen during this ultrasound. This ultrasound also reveals the gender of the baby.
It is usually performed in the second trimester between 19-21 weeks of pregnancy.
#4. Growth Scan
The complete development of the baby can be observed in the third trimester through a growth scan. Factors like the size of your baby, amount of water around the baby, free mobility space through the sac are observed.
